We’ll start with helpful insights into personality types using DISC, and learn how to assess, and adapt your approach for different styles – right down to the phrases you might use.

Using this knowledge, we’ll dive into case studies where you’ll put your new-found skills into practice. Participants will be able to:

• Identify different personality types in career counselling 
• Understand the core needs of different personality types
• Build rapport and relationships with clients by understanding personality types
• Use verbal and written communication skills to reframe conversations and ask relevant questions

Presenter Bio: Carolyn Mounce

Carolyn Mounce has over 25 years of management experience in business and government. She consults across insurance, human resources, disability, and employment using tools and tactics uniquely supported by qualified science, medicine and behavioural insights.

Carolyn regularly trains in personality insights and behaviour change tactics across large employers, government agencies, insurance and service providers. And back in 2015 she co-authored ‘On the Front Foot: Six Simple Steps to RTW’ which offers simple steps to improve service delivery and return to work outcomes after injury and illness.
