This session presented by Andrew Eddy and Martina Johnson from Untapped Talent is designed to help you understand neurodiverse inclusive interview and hiring practices.

Untapped Talent is a social enterprise focussed on changing the narrative about neurodiversity through awareness, education and engagement.

They are passionate about the success of neurodivergent individuals in the workplace and have developed and delivered hundreds of training sessions across Australia, to managers, executives, co-workers, hiring managers, HR and neurodivergent individuals.

Their training materials have been developed with input or review from their neurodivergent employees.

Presenter Bios:

Andrew EddyCEO and Co-Founder of Untapped Talent

Andrew is the CEO of Untapped Talent, a for-purpose social enterprise focused on developing a sustainable neurodiverse employment ecosystem to increase opportunities for autistic individuals, thereby realising their untapped potential. 

Andrew is also driving the Neurodiversity Hub community of practice initiative, which is about working with universities and employers to facilitate neurodivergent university and college students become more work-ready and increase their chances of securing a job and commencing a career. A range of life skills training courses have also been developed for neurodivergents.

He also promotes the Genius Armoury platform to attract and identify an autistic cybersecurity talent pool through fundamental training in cybersecurity. 

Martina Johnson  - Neurodiversity Consultant at Untapped Talent

Martina is a passionate neurodiversity advocate, autism educator and employment consultant. She has extensive knowledge of neurodivergence including co-occurring learning differences and mental health conditions.

Martina has 10 years of professional experience supporting and advocating for autistic individuals to achieve success and is an accomplished trainer, mentor, and coach to neurodivergent job seekers and employees.

She has been the lead facilitator and co-designer of numerous autism training and job readiness programs and was a finalist in the 2022 ACT Chief Ministers Inclusion Awards.
