We invite South Australian members to join us online for our June Careers and Coffee Meetup to share, learn and collaborate with others. 

June's theme will be "We Must Find a Way or Make One”.  Attendees will look at why we need to use positive psychology tools to help job seekers strengthen hope and optimism and find work they want. 

This discussion will be led by Bridget Hogg, Director, Development at Work Australia Pty Ltd – Winner of the 2020 CDAA SA Division Award for Excellence in Practice. 

Bridget will share why she believes job seeker outcomes improve as job seekers are given access to the tools and techniques of positive psychology and NLP. In the last 2 years she accessed over $1 Million of government money to pilot a new wellbeing based job seeker program (Next Steps) assisting hundreds of job seekers to find work they want, utilising the tools and techniques of positive psychology and NLP. 

Bridget will share what she has done, how she achieved it and why she believes this project’s methods improve hope, optimism and personal initiative in job seekers – thus helping them find work they want. Participants are encouraged to share their own experience in managing mindsets to help people “find a way or make one”.
