Join your fellow CDAA members from the ACT and NT for an online event that includes a presentation by Robin Ladwig (they/them) followed by a group discussion. Robin is a PhD Candidate at the University of Canberra.

The presentation aims to raise understanding about trans and gender diverse individuals and their general lived experiences in Australia as well as with their career development. Trans and gender diverse individuals experience specific enablers and barriers while perceiving their career aspirations.

Such conditions need to be taken into consideration to provide trans and gender diverse individuals with adequate support for their career development. Explicit enablers and barriers for trans and gender diverse individuals to engage in the Australian workforce, as well as practice examples, are introduced and discussed with the group to learn from each other.
