International Membership is available for practicing career development practitioners who hold a current recognised membership of a career association outside of Australia. You may have an interest in being informed of current matters pertaining to career development in Australia and/or the CDAA through CDAA communications, wish to engage with CDAA members for networking, or will benefit from attending CDAA CPD events at member rates. 

International members do not have access to CDAA member insurance, cannot fill committee positions and cannot vote in elections.

International Membership Criteria


International Member applicants will evidence: 

  • Current recognised membership of a career association outside of Australia, as evidenced by a membership certificate, and
  • Currently working in the career development profession as evidenced from a current CV.


Membership Period
Annual renewal date 1 March

Membership Fee
$80 (Pro rata to end of February)

How to Apply
Applications for International Membership may be made by completing and submitting the online application.

Determination
The CDAA National Membership Committee considers and approves, declines or seeks further information with regard to International Membership applications.

Conditions of Membership Application:
Members of the CDAA agree to abide by the Professional Standards for Australian Career Development Practitioners including Code of Ethics.
