19/04/2010The Careers and Transition Education Association (CATE) is proud to be hosting the Annual New Zealand Careers conference at SkyCity Auckland from 24-26 November 2010. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all CDAA members to join us for this professional development opportunity.
The theme for the conference is "Navigate". The focus will be on emerging trends, skills and tools to successfully guide clients to develop their career plan, through the following sub-themes:
- Charting the Course: Career theory, practice and education
- Know the Ropes: Innovative career development practice and tools
- All Aboard: Integrating career education into the curriculum
- Land Ahoy: Emerging trends, opportunities and innovation
- Anchoring in a Safe Harbour: Providing first-class service for career practitioners
