Presentation: When does Career Counselling need Psychological referral?
Jan West is a leading Psychologist and well experienced in dealing with people that require more than Career Counselling. She will indentify the common signs of need and how to address when to refer. That difficult process of identifying when we cannot take our candidates further without specialist qualified help. But still seeking to maintain credibility with the client. Jan will explain what she can do with those clients and probable outcomes. She will guide us in recognising signs and symptoms and how to explain the additional help need, to the client.

In her career as a psychologist, Jan has had extensive experience in treating a range of psychological problems. She is committed to providing a professional service to help clients find solutions to these problems.
Jan has specialised in working with adults with Attention Deficit Disorder, Depression, Anxiety Disorders and Acute Stress. When working on relationship issues and in couple therapy, she works with her clients to find creative solutions to their issues and concerns.
Jan is a supervisor in the NSW Health Department Psychologist Registration Board's registrations program. She is a lecturer and trainer at the Australian College of Applied Psychology.
