The Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) is a national organisation of practitioners who work in the career development industry either for themselves or others, providing a range of career services for people entering the workforce, managing their work and life roles, or changing careers.

Members work in a range of settings, including small to medium businesses, education, employment, rehabilitation, corporations, human resources, government service and community.

Recording CPD

An important element of the Professional Standards is for career development practitioners to undertake continuing professional development (CPD) to maintain a level of skills and knowledge to facilitate the delivery of high quality services to our clients. CDAA Professionals are expected to undertake 30 hours CPD per annum and Associates 20 hours. The CDAA CPD Policy provides members with scope and flexibility both in terms of the range of CPD activities that can be engaged in to meet these requirements as well as latitude in accumulating the required number of hours.more...
