Career Professionals – Reflecting on Practice

Carole is the National President and Fellow of the Career Development Association of Australia. Prior to being elected President in 2009, Carole served for 3 years on the national Executive as Vice-President, chaired several sub-committees and was the founding president of the ACT Division. Carole has co-convened two CDAA national conferences and has served on the Board of the Career Industry Council of Australia.

Carole is the Manager of Career Development for staff at the Australian National University where she is responsible for leading the university's approach to the development of academic, professional and technical staff.

She has more than 20 years experience in the career development field, having worked with organisations and individuals in the public, private, community and education sectors. Carole has been invited to speak at several national and international conferences and regularly runs continuing education courses in the field of career development.
