Career development coaching

Coaching is now widely used to support people in managing their careers. During this interactive forum, Dr Ann Villiers, Mental Nutritionist®, will interview a panel of talented and experienced career coaches, followed by questions invited from audience members.

Panel members:

  • Sue Crawford, Career & Education Advisor, Brumbies Rugby
  • Robert Styles, Executive Member, The Human Dimension
  • Louisa Scagliotti, Principal Consultant, Adept Career Moves

This forum will provide honest answers about the coaching process and reveal insights into how it is done. Some questions to be discussed include:

  • Is there a difference between career coaching and career counselling?
  • What methods do career coaches use?
  • What skills are needed for career coaching?
  • How does coaching fit in a private practice model?
  • What are the trends and possibilities for career development practitioners?
  • Is it possible to deliver coaching advice in a five minute conversation?
