
To nominate for a position on the ACT Division Management Committee you must be of good financial standing. Life Members, Fellows, Professional Members and Associate Members are entitled to nominate for a position on the ACT Division Committee. Associate Members cannot, however, nominate for the positions of Division President or Division Treasurer. Subject to these conditions, you may nominate yourself for one or more position on the enclosed Nomination Form.

Nominations can be made on the form that can be downloaded from the CDAA website (pdf).
In the event that there is no nomination received for a particular position, the President may call for nominations for election to that position from the floor of the Annual General Meeting. A Life Member, Fellow, Professional or Associate Member of the Association must second person(s) so nominated.
In the event that the number of candidates nominated and elected is less than the number required, the ACT Division Management Committee may fill the vacant position(s) by invitation of Life Members, Fellows, Professional Members and Associate Members of good financial standing.
If the number of persons nominated for all, or for any one position does not exceed the number permitted to be elected, the person(s) so nominated will be declared to be elected.
Voting shall be by secret ballot and shall be on a preferential system. A Returning Officer and Scrutineer will supervise the voting procedure.
