Has been awarded the 2010 Miles Morgan Award for Excellence in Career Development

History

In 2006, the Career Development Association of Australia Inc. (then the Australian Association of Career Counsellors Inc.) approached Miles Morgan Australia Pty Ltd with the idea that an award be established for practitioners working in the vocational education and training sector and / or in a community-based organisation or private practice. 

Christine Haines, the Executive Director of Miles Morgan, agreed to provide two awards, one for practitioners working in the Vocational Education and Training sector and one for a private practitioner or a community-based service provider.

All applications are reviewed by an independent panel comprising CDAA members and the winner is selected in accordance with the published criteria.  Each award is to the value of $1,000.00 cash for the recipient.

Nominations for 2010 Award

Miles Morgan Australia in conjunction with the Career Development Association of Australia is invited applications and /or nominations for the 2010 awards which was presented at the Annual CDAA Conference dinner in Adelaide in April 2010.

The award is the MMA Excellence in Career Development Award.

Miles Morgan Australia Pty Ltd provides $1,000 for the award, which is open to financial Professional Members of the Career Development Association of Australia working in the career development field.

Miles Morgan Australia Pty Ltd encourages organisations, learning institutions and individuals to nominate others.
